The extention of Parque de las Ciencias in Granada was opened in November 2008 by Their Royal Highnesses Prince and Princess of Asturias.
The science park is quoted as 'becoming one of the major science museums in Europe with over 70,000 square meters dedicated to the dissemination of scientific knowledge and culture'.
Spanish speaking RoboThespian™ is situated in a prominent location within the new building, ready to greet the science centre visitors (30,000 people in one month since the Inauguration Ceremony).
With a custom built interface and bespoke content, el RoboThespian™ performs extracts from Don Quijote and recites poetry and verse by Federico Garcia Lorca and Shakespeare and a translation of Charles Darwin's Origin of Species.
